ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an energetic Social Media Geek to help us expand our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. If you think you’ve got great ideas and a creative knack for social, we’re ready to have you onboard!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and manage daily content calendars. Understand and optimize platform-specific content.
  • Collaborate with the design team to build creatives that promote interaction, increase brand presence, and encourage audience participation.
  • Report and analyze the success of existing social media projects based on key metrics.
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media campaigns.
  • Explore additional opportunities on various platforms to fulfill company goals.
  • Drive community engagement, on native platforms, as well as external social groups.
  • Conduct social media monitoring/listening, assess how the brand is being perceived and respond to comments.
  • Engage with the community by posting on relevant social media accounts as per branding guidelines.
  • Assist with social media advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or a similar role
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Open to exploring additional opportunities on different platforms
  • Understanding of social media KPIs
  • Ability to develop creative and visually appealing posts
  • Hands-on experience with a design tool like Canva
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good communication skills to collaborate in a globally diverse team
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
